TBS Shipping Services, Inc. Emerges From Bankruptcy
On February 6, 2012, TBS Shipping Services Inc., et al,. and certain of its affiliates filed voluntary petitions for relief under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code (the "Chapter 11 Cases") in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York (the "Court").
On March 29, 2012, the Court entered an order (the “Confirmation Order”) confirming the Joint Prepackaged Plan of Reorganization of TBS Shipping Services, Inc., et al. under chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code (as Modified) (the “Plan of Reorganization”). The Effective Date of the Plan of Reorganization occurred on April 12, 2012.
